Daniela Tramonti, Yoga Teacher
I am an Oxford-based yoga teacher, currently teaching vinyasa and chair yoga classes in studios and community centres.

After practicing yoga for 20 years in Rome, Leeds and in Oxford I have trained as a Yoga Teacher and completed my YTT with Yoga Quota (RTY 200h Yoga Alliance). Since then I have started teaching vinyasa yoga classes, both live and online, incorporating aspects of yoga philosophy, which is something very close to my heart.

I also teach Chair yoga classes for everyone who wants to try a more supported approach to yoga. These classes are broadly open to everyone who is curious to try yoga maybe for the first time in their life, wanting to add movement, awareness, balance and strength in a more relaxed and slow paced setting. Ideal for corporate yoga needs as uses a chair instead of a mat.

My aspiration is to make the yoga practice more accessible regardless of flexibility, strength, balance, age and inclusive reaching people who might benefit from it or are just curious to experience this life tool for physical and mental wellbeing.

I’ve previously worked as a research biologist at Oxford University and I am particularly interested in the science behind yoga, its effects on both muscular and nervous systems, and how this could be useful to improve our overall physical and mental health. I see the yoga system (asanas, pranayamas, meditation) as an invaluable and evergreen self care tool to rebalance both our body, mind and spirit!
